Joe Dixon is a London based artist whose work circulates around delicate paint techniques and the diverse relationships within the colour spectrum.

The work created especially for his recent exhibition 'The End' focuses on tribal masks and facial markings that have been adopted around the world to create myth and legend.

Previous to this exhibition Joe had mainly worked with medical based subject matter. His solo show in 2006 and work with The British Dental Journal thorough out 2007 perfectly encapsulate the intense interest that the artist had with revising dead images of cross sections and diseases into celebrations of the human body.

The introduction of prints into this recent show is evidence of the growth in skills of this young artist. Painting, print making and book binding are all fields in which Joe is confident in his ability to create artwork that will inspire and entertain the viewer.

New and exciting works will be available later in the year, following 'The End' and The Art in Marylebone exhibition.
